Effective May 1, 2026 - ePOD Entry/Exit Requests Required for Automotive Facility Access
Beginning May 1, 2026, to enhance security and streamline operations, we will be mandating the use of ePOD (Electronic Proof of Delivery) entry and exit requests for all individuals accessing our automotive facilities. This includes haul-away drivers, repair in transit companies, tow truck drivers and contractors.
To access the essential automotive APIs for ePOD, or if you need to configure ePOD for your drivers, please visit the BNSF API Center. For instructions on setting up ePOD exit and entry requests and locating the APIs, click here.
Key benefits of digital proof of delivery include:
- Enables a fully contactless proof-of-delivery process to enhance security for drivers and customers
- Replaces manual paperwork with digital processes
- Supports sustainability goals by significantly decreasing paper usage
We appreciate your cooperation as we implement this new policy. If you have any questions or require assistance with the registration process, please utilize the Message Us feature on the BNSF Customer Portal (must be registered/logged in to access) or contact Customer Support at 1-888-428-2673.
